    All finished

so I bought one of these 2 weeks ago. I ordered on the tuesday night, received on the thursday. Quick shipping indeed - it was nicely wrapped and i would reccommend this ebay seller http://myworld.ebay.com.au/mybodykits/. The bar cost around $270 delivered to Brisbane

    The bar:

Thats how i picked the car up from DMD. Nicely painted but a few imperfections around the joins and the fog lights were way off. That was with the REO bar fitted.

It cost me $480 for fitting and painting and another $80 for some modification to the bar. I got it done at DMD www.dmdtheimage.com friendly service and quick job turnover. I handed the car in monday morning and got a call wednesday morning.

Here is the finished product with the help of race tape and a few rivits and metal brackets on the fog lights. I decided not to use the reo bar as it would have required a lot of modification to get it sitting in the right place.

I have a FMIC which was where the modification came in. I got the sides to fit better by shaving some of the bar off with a file, it was hitting an intercooler pipe.

    Hope u like.

I would recommend this bar as a cheap alternative to the usualls, maybe a 6.5 out of 10.

Yes true Simon. But I am pretty sure i stated that i took the reo bar off and fitted the fog lights with race tape, metal brackets and sikaflex to the bar so they sit flush... better than they did on my old stocko bar.

I managed to fix some of the gap on both sides by re-fitting and making minor adjustments with the screws and filing down the inside that was touching the intercooler piping. I wouldnt blame the bar as much as the fitters for missing that one.

If you have a look at the last picture supplied it shows a better representation of how the bar looks as a whole. No its not poly urathane, it is however a very cheap fibreglass knockoff. At the end of the day this has been reflected. It does however, look alot better and serve its function better than my old stock front bar which was overdue for the trash a long time ago. I noticed a huge difference in power and cooling as the amount of air able to reach the intercooler had drastically increased...

I got one of those from that guy also

I think for the money its not too bad, of course it's not a perfect fit, but my stock one was a lot worse due to smashing a hare (big fukn rabbit) at 100kph. I painted mine myself so it doesn't look very professional.
I must say I think I noticed some kind of boost in performance also.
But that could be because I put a new front under guard, new exhaust system & electronic boost controller at the same time...
