Had a thrash today at EC for the first time, PS2 not included, and bugger me with a fish fork, what a sh1t hot circuit. It just flows so nice. Hitting 200kph in my NA at the end of the straight, backing off and taking the first left hander at 180kph and accelerating out is just mad.....and man does the zed do it well.I've spent some time dicking around with the suspension, and now it sticks like sh1t to a stick. Went along with a couple of liner owners from SAU, a nice v-specII R34 and a tricked up R33 GTST. Managed to follow these guys around the twisty bits, but they pulled away down the front straight. Kept many behind me including a 350Z, who was spewing when I told him mines an NA auto.hehehehe A very fast twin turbo NSX from Qld was smoking it around, very nice, GT3's and a flame throwin GTR R32 among others. If you get the chance to try this place out, you've got to go!!! My times were OK, best time was a 1:59.
how much was it for the day? i went to the A1 practice session when it was at eastern creek, watching them come down the straight and hard into the sweeping left hander was awesome:thumbsup:
I posted this session in the 'events' thread Open practice days $120 non members or ARDC members $80, a CAMS L2S licence and go for it :thumbsup:. Well worth the effort.
well done! Under 2min around there is very good for an NA, definately a track where power is more important.
Spewing I missed you guys was working in the end! Arghhh! But on a high not put my Intercoolers on. Will have to join you on the track for the next one. Of to Tassie in 2 weeks, and racing at Baskerville. MattB
