Z tune The $600 one? i thought that finished last month?? I was going to do that but i lady decided to drive her car into the back of minea day b4 i was getting my new exhaust... its coming up for a month n i shall get my car back next week:biggrin::zlove:

Oh, and these things can sometimes take a while to gain interest, I suggest that if we dont have the numbers by the official date, cancel it and push it back until we have the required numbers. Another option, instead of charging $45 each and putting the $10 each into prizes, why not just give back the $10? I'm sure that you would get alot more people in on this if it was cheaper, seeing how much people whinge about prices for everything else. Also maybe try posting up an EOI on the z related non-technical/non-z related forms, directed to all those who post questions like "how much rwkw will my stock z make?", or "I just added exhaust to my Z, how many kw will it add" - this is a definate way to answer all their questions. I think the reason why you may be having trouble getting the numbers is because those with decent power have normally already had dyno runs done (normally with a dyno tune) and already know there power output, those with low power (looks at ugame ) dont want to be embarrassed so they stay away, and many more are ignorant about dyno runs and are scared that they will blow thier engines (not realising that a dyno run is safer than taking thier car up to 6800rpm on the street). I think that dyno days are a great idea, and hope that the numbers do materialise. I think its good to chuck your car on the dyno every 6 months or so, lets you see if you have lost any power from where it was before.
I've been keeping up with this thread but havent posted yet cause at this stage im only a maybe, i wont know for sure till mid to end of next week. Im keen for this so i have a dyno record of each individual mod done one at a time. first was with pod, second with pod and just mufflers and now i have pod, mufflers with cat back. i hope to be there
I wanna put my babe on dyno too would be intresting to see the results after new engin and the mufflers.. but at this stage its a may be due to my work shedule
I reccomend you get in on it, its good to know what power you are really running. Anyone know when there will be another skidpan day?
please explain ok guys Im new to this I take it Dyno is something to do with a special tune?. But why did someone mention no responsibilty taken if you car blows up? Im going away on the long wekend so I would love to get mt motor sorted and tested. Can some one just give me some advise on this?:help: Bobby
they just put your car on a dyno and give it 2 runs, tell yours how much horsepower your car has. dyno runs doesnt include dyno tune.

I doubt this is going to happen to be honest... And personally I would rather spend the day putting my engine back in..... oh yeah.. thats right... engine back in
