Undertaking a manual conversion & have found a tt gearbox, however it has an estimated 140k km on it.

Since the engine is likely to be pushing 450-500hp through it would it be worth getting rebuilt? I know they are seen as a 'strong' box but unsure how much they can take.

Anyone with a good clutch & flywheel combination for daily driving?

stock box will handle 500hp every day as long as it's in good nick. plenty of youtube videos of 600-800hp Z32s with stock boxes.

stick to a strong single plate clutch and stock flywheel if you want drivability.

i've got a nismo twin plate / light flywheel package but more work shifting up and down and sensitive on take off.

Did you, or are you able to 'test drive' the gearbox?

It would make sense to rebuild the gearbox prior to installing it in the vehicle.
Perhaps an 'upgrade' to the later series synchro's could be considered.
