If you are unfamiliar with DressUpBolts.com we specialize in the most complete Dress Up Bolt Kits in the highest quality materials and finishes available. All of our kits meet or exceed OEM spec's.

Here is a little info on our Company and our Kits:

DressUpBolts.com was started to fulfill the need for a quality replacement fastener for automotive engine bays and engines. Sure, you can go to your local home improvement store and find something that will "work" but then again pvc piping will "work" for you I/C pipes too.. right? :p

We design each of our pieces (Bolts, Nuts, and Washers) in-house using CAD. We pick the designs that are the most aesthetically pleasing, but will also provide a greater strength than an OEM fastener. These are engineered by us from start to finish.

~Our Titanium kits utilize Grade 5 Titanium (Which is stronger than Grade 8 Stainless Steel!)
~Our Stainless Steel Kits utilize Grade 8 304 Stainless Steel
~We offer the most COMPLETE Dress Up Bolt fastener replacement kits on the market today.
~All of our kits will be accompanied with installation instructions, no guess work, just remove and replace! It's that simple.
~Unique Head design creates a truly custom look, these aren't some junky fasteners you can buy at a hardware store like a lot of "dress up kits" out there.
~Drastic improvement over factory fasteners in terms of looks and durability, our fasteners will never rust!

    Titanium Colors Available:

    Blue
    Gold
    Green
    Polished
    Purple

They couldn't anodise the material red properly, or something along those lines. I read it on the US forum a while back :(

so will the finish on these scratch, or are they coloured right the way though, as often you can destroy the looks of a fastener by chipping colour of the edges when tightening.....

No, Titanium is unable to be anodized red. :(

Nope, just pm me and let me know which areas you would like which colors. :)

We haven't had any complaints of someone having the color scratch off. Under normal circumstances, you shouldn't have a problem. Even when tightening with a wrench.

However, we sponsor a time attack car here and they remove the front suspension extremely often, I checked out the nuts and there was a little wear on them but I would say they had been tightened and loosened (mostly with an air gun) ~100x's and trust me these guys were in a rush, the last thing on their mind is protecting the finish on the bolts.

Have you done a total weight comparison if replacing everything you can supply with titanium from the stock stainless stuff? Be interesting to know what the difference is.

stock bolts are definitely not S/S. Not 100%, but most are mild, some are zinc? plated and can be buffed to a polished finish, but will only last 12 months at most.
Should have kept the receipt tally, but an "extensive" conversion to S/S equivalents on motor only will cost in the vicinity of $300. Even going to the degree of 6mm fuel rail bolts,4mm injector pintle cap bolts.
If you're concerned about weight reduction possibilities, there's a 2g saving per cam cover if you go polished ;)
Still waiting for weather to clear up to get thread lengths for 7mm exhaust cam sprockets. Rain and polished isnt a nice look :(

Are you saying the exhaust cam sprockets are 7mm in length or an M7 screw/bolt? I think it would be very hard to find an M7 S/S screw/bolt.
