Am going to replace my front speakers this weekend and need to get the door trims off. I've looked in the Tech section and can only see an article on removing a TT door trim - and only the drivers side at that.

Any tips from you N/A folks out there that have done a similar job?

Have removed mine a number of times. Fairly straightforward. No need to pry out window switches on passenger side-just unclip harness when panel is off. On drivers side need to remove 2 screws from door grip-just below window switches. Get as close to the plastic clips as possible when removing panel. If they break don't panic, replacements are cheap + available at most auto shops. Don't forget the hidden screw on door pillar-need to remove plastic cover to get at.

Perhaps you mean yours is a 2+2 in which case the seat belt is not attached to the door...so you don't need to worry about taking it off before you pull off the trim. Just follow the diagrams and be sure to remove all the screws...

Haha way to make me look like a fool Baz, maybe it's simply a matter of who complied it?

    Door Pillar

I've got a 2+2, no seatbelt in door - does that mean that I don't have to mess with the door pillar screw?

No Seatbelt on door = no door pillar screw to remove?

OK, but as per my post above - if I don't have a seatbelt attched to the door, I don't need to remove the door pillar screw - right?

There is still a screw in the pillar you need to remove regardless of whether the seatbelt is on the door or not. This is what holds the top of the pillar trim to the door. It's behind the cap on the outside of the door, you need to lower the window to access.

Why don't you look in the tech section

Pretty well covered there. It's there so others don't have to do your work for you.

I always look in the Tech Section first

As I said in my original post
