Agreed. If using them I vote to hit the engine bay with black paint instead to balance it out. Who's with me? lol

Yeah we all want to be just like you dude! How did you know? lol

Black is a fairly neutral colour is all, and alot of new cars come with black engine bays regardless of body colour. Just a thought anyway to trim down the green a little.

I call it tasteful,if chroming and polishing shit,i think black sets off the shiny stuff better, but thats just me,im not into the "look what ive painted in my engine bay" thing :zlove:

i must say it does looks good on the engine stand though

I will agree it has been on my mind today talking to my boss about whether to go a black engine bay or green....

But what new modern cars come out with a black engine bay when the body is a different colour????

black would make the engine stand out more... but at the same time would look out of place I feel since I'm not going the black nose/lights/bonnet thing...

it would just look weird like the car was painted green over black.

    Not sure just yet..

That being said there some extra bits going in that you don't know about that is going to cover some of the green, piping and such.. that will be posted at a later date...

Current plan is to go a green engine bay and then photo shop it in when complete... I just like the idea of the colour flowing and not looking out of place which i feel the black will

I was going to powder coat but i wanted the same green as the body....

powder coating wouldn't have been the same.. and what ever it ended up being the cam covers would have to match.. and you cant powder coat the plastic...

since 2pack will be fine in the heat i thought it was the easiest and best option

nah i vote green engine bay.
if the car is going to be green on the outside, keep in consistent otherwise it'll look weird.
if anything i'd do the engine bay green, and do the cam covers and timing belt covers black to set the chrome off against the green engine bay.

i hate it when you see cars that have had resprays, but they haven't sprayed the engine or door jams - just lazy and makes the car look cheap in my opinion.
if your going to go to the effort of spraying a car, do it properly.

Alot of the newer cars do have black engine bays although i dont know if it would work well with a green like that, keep it all green imo..

that manifold balace car needs to be painted the same green to balance the colour front to back, other than that - you nailed it 110%

    Awesome!
