Well as it says above i think i done a big end bearing just b4. Done a few loop to loops an as pulled up heard knock knock. Shut the car off let it sit started it up again an dosen't make any noise on idle only after rev's climb up. It's not loud at all.Thort it could be a bent lifter but then if it was wouldn't it be missing? I am 99% sure it's big end so yeah let the fun begin. My car is 5spd n/a was just woundering would it be worth putting a TT engine in. Can someone tell me what has to be changed going from N/A to TT. I know shit like flywheel/clutch has to be changed but what else? Any help would great thanks
Hey dude have you noticed your oil pressure drop??? I may be wrong but usually if you do a big end doesn't your oil pressure drop? Although if it was only one of the big ends you probably wouldn't notice it.
Yeah seems to be the same as any other day. Does any one know how hard it is to remove cross member an remove sump fo inspection? I don't know much about car's mate's know but iam learning
Engine noise I hate to say it but it sounds like it is very much so. I had a 486RWHP soarer before my zed and bought my performance engine spin a spun bearing on number 6, crank was went to much to repair, and the 2nd big end i had a crank grind and put oversized bearings in. As you raise the revs the noise will become louder. Do not drive it, hopefully you have done to much damage. Hope fully if there is any damage done to the crank you can get away with regrind and o/s bearings. Just hope you haven't bent the crank. I take it you have the boost up?
