Does the timing belt need 2 b removed in order to remove the planum?

    And does the timing belt need to be removed in order to remove the crank seal?

    I don't thing the timing belt needs to be removed in order to remove the plenum but I believe it needs to be removed in order to change the crank seal.

    Just need confirmation that this is correct.

    As far as the upper plenum/intake manifold is considered, the timing belt does not have to be removed.

    Thanks for that, I'm quite sure it needs to be removed in order to remove

    the crank seal.

    You can remove the upper plenum with taking cam belt off. You can even remove the lower one by just pulling one cam idler wheel if you are careful.

    Hopefully you wont have to do that.
