Does anyone know which is the return hose from the radiator to the Auto.

Is it the bottom transmission hose on the radiator?

I have installed an Auto tranny cooler and need to hook up the hoses to it this w/end.

At this stage I'm not sure which is the hose that goes back to the Auto. transmission.

Overall, its not a difficult job to install a cooler.
Need to fabricate 2 brackets to hold it in place.

I found the hardest thing was to determine where to position the cooler for good airflow/sturdiness & looks. I would not recommend placing it in front of the engine oil cooler as it sits directly behind the number plate and air flow there is compromised - just a hint for anyone that wants to do this, I installed it on the passenger side next to the engine oil cooler at an angle of about 30-35ยบ tilted back directly in the path of air flow and looks factory.

    Why should it matter?

the oil flow thru a cooler isn't uni-directional, so you can hook it up either way.

Failing that if you HAVE to know I'd disconnect the lines and then place buckets under each oil line, short start the motor, the bucket with the most oil WINS! ;) (just don't run for longer than 5 seconds or so)

Thanks DUB, I was trying to cut to the chase. I'll figure it out.
