    what a memory :D

my Gramps left me in his will, his Ford Sierra Colsworth, which i later imported. it is one of the most pant browning experiences driving it, the only problem is that it is left hand drive vehicle and its currently sitting around waiting for the day i can afford to make the conversion.

This car literally scare the shit out of me, and judging by my driving history listed at the RTA, speed usually isnt one of my fears. bloody awsome :thumbsup:

My first turbo experience was on a bike too. :)
Katana 1000 with full yoshi motor... fuel injected with a Mr Turbo kit running 15PSI.
Ran like a pig, backfired and missed just as the boost came on that was so bad it threw you forward onto your wrists, then took off at warp speed.
Crazy bike, used to run high nines or low tens with NO wheelie bar!
First turbo car experience was a Mike Vine XE Falcon. (thought geez this is fast and I remember how quiet it was)

My first ride wasnt in a turbo car....

..it was in a supercharged car. It was my old mechanics 1939 Chev. It was a hotrod with a 7.4L big block making about 850hp and a mind numbing amount of torque. It made me crap myself when he took off the sheer massive acceleration, unbeleveble ! It made me sit up and pay attention to what turbocharging and supercharging could do to an engines performance. I had been buildng asperated race engines at the time and none of them came close. Got me converted quick smart !

I remember the first time I got my NA

I drove my peice of shit Honda Prelude 5th gen Vtek to sydney to do a swop on 92 black slick top NA zed. The honda over heated on the free way the radiator was cracked just replaced the $6500 gear box the week before, could see many problems with the car, the sales man that sold me the zed actually bought the honda of the yard. Never honda again. It was the third and last. Only Nissan and Toyota for me. But the new TT will be the last car I get, just gona spend all my time getting the car mint condition.

    Holden VL Calais turbo.

First time in a turbo car was back in college in a friends 1988 VL Calais turbo. This car was immaculate, maroon over silver with 17" rims (which were huge back then haha). The car was good for 12 seconds flat. Liked it so much I bought one myslef and have owned it for over three years.
I have decided to sell the Calais as having two nice cars (VL Calais & 300ZX) is kinda pointless & bloody expensive!!!

    Jono

P.S. Pics of my VL Calais can been seen on my profile if anyone's interested :)
