Hi need some input why my climate control wont blow air to the screen when i hit the demister button air still blows out the face level vents not on the screen noticed when driving in all the rain we have had latley. any input on how to put this right would be good.
There's a little motor that controls the direction of air to the vents. More than likely it will need to be replaced. Search tech section. It has been covered before
Another member "thezed" also has this same issue, I have just taken out the box & motor that controls the vents as he is buying the motor setup, it is a massive job & will require most of the dash removed as there are some sneaky screws that are impossible to get to. I can send you pics of the setup so you know what your up against if you like ?
Try cleaning the battery terminals as an interim measure. I know it sounds stupid but I did that and it gave the motors some life! Eventually when I did the heater core I did replace all three vent motors. Ads
just grabed a beer and heading to the shed now have printed out the air con diag doco's from the tech section see how we go ???
well run the diag for the vent actuators all seems to work fine now when i turn on demister all good maybe just a little stuck from lack of use ?? or the zed gremmlin is playing with my mind again.
