    hey all,
I have been slowly piecing together my new 300zx project car, it still needs rego, roadworthy and a few small bits to finish it off.

Its an NA 2+2 JDM import 1992 auto model

My first thoughts were to convert it to manual and enjoy it as is, the other thoughts were to keep it auto and drive it as is, or convert it to Turbo and just wind up the boost a bit as an auto or manual.

Its my weekender and its the sort of car i'm happy to keep off the road while all the work is being done.

PS. I noticed a lot of nice bits on this car, the door trims don't have the slits for the seat belts, the car has the original japanese seat belts, the car also has side intrusion bars (i thought the jdm ones were welded in).

I didn't pay much for the car originally so i'm sitting pretty nice $$ wise to spend a bit.

Any advice on which direction I should go?

    Thanks again in advance.

    P plates? If so,

    1. Do nothing
    2. Sell it
    3. Buy manual TT ??????
    4. Profit

Sorry i should have mentioned I am not on my P's, so i'm hoping for a turbo.

I'm hoping to keep the car and build up from it as much as I can.

The car you have is not the car you want. You want a manual turbo, about as far away from an N/A auto as you can get. Sell it. Buy turbo manual.

The cost of the conversions you want to make will cost you the price of an average TT manual full car to buy.
