Hi all. I have a complete davies craig electronic waterpump (115l pump) setup. System is complete with instructions and additional 16" aeroflow 2500cfm thermofan, upperhose with tempsender and lower hose with pump with all wiring intact as it was installed in my 300. I've removed from vehicle after car caught fire (fuel tank in rear went up) and not sure what im going to do with car. The car has done less than 5000kms in the past 3 years. Units was removed with no issues. Whilst taking the drag of the waterpump and viscous fan away yeilds powergains, i just loved having the ability to set a temp and have the confidence sitting in traffic on a 38°day, that its not going to overheat!
A new kit roughly $200 sort of mark without thermo fans, additinal wiring or figuring out how to mount the system. All thats required it a smaller fanbelt for just the alternator.
Chasing $250 ono as a complete kit to suit z32 both TT or NA. Happy to post at buyers expense.

Just out of curiousity, were you running this with the stock water pump on the block un used or with some sort of water pump delete?

Initially i left the waterpump intact but deleted from the fanbelt so inoperable. Just a shorter belt to run alternator solo. The thermostat has to be deleted becuase the pump has its own warmup procedure. When the car was getting other mods i had the time to cut the waterpump assembly down and had a plate welded onto the trim to make a block off piece so to speak.

To do it properly yes the factory water pump needs to be gutted, remove the thermostat, and also you need to modify the water paths to the heads as the water flow is now initiated from a different position, which can result in incorrect flow around the engine. I think I did a post about this a while back. All easy to do. All I've done in the past with the factory water pumps is just gut the impeller, and replace with a welsh plug to fill the hole, then put the housing back on as is without the impellor or pulley.
