Hey guys, just wondering would anyone in the geelong area be able be able to hook there laptop up to my 300zx (90 TT) and scan for errors codes / if its running ritch? im so new with these cars and am curious to see if theres anything wrong with it that i can pick up now..if so let me now how much cheers, tony
With regard to running rich, datascan will not give conclusive results, as the O2 sensors in our cars are narrowband, and even just slightly rich will swing the gauges all the way out to rich. It can tell however if the O2 sensors arent working, which may richen the mixture in closed loop and be detrimental to fuel economy. It can also tell you if you are in saftey maps via codes 13 and 34 which will richen your mixture and reduce fuel economy.
