Don't do it ! I have never seen a painted one that doesn't look tacky. (You might be the first one though)
I painted mine Metallic Blue. Looks awesome but doesnt go with any square inch of the car but I was bored.
yeah but it just feels so plain black im bored i wanna brighten things up theres nothing else projecting i can do from home lol
Seriously don't do it! Especially the being the dash it will look so tacky, your choice tho i suppose.
have a look at our cars were driving rice lol and i dont see how a bit of a coulerd dash can make it rice ? i came here looking for advice on how to do it not i shouldnt do it lol cheers
cheers mate its very simple, you just have to make sure the surface is preped and free of oils. then make sure you put a base layer on and then spray over the top of it in even coats in saying that. i changing it. i only painted it because it had wood grain underneath and i thought it aged the car badly. ill sand it back and sell the wood grain and then go back to stock. erik
Kruzey no offense intended - it's your dash and you have it any colour you want. When you ask for advice however the advice was "don't do it" becasue it rarely looks good. This is based on seeing the piece painted or finished in a number of different ways. Tony
i dont think wood grain ages a car as late model top of the range cars still come out with wood grain even today . .
If you really want to go ahead with this, there's a few colours that you can repaint the dash bezel with that still look tasteful. A darkish silver can look good, as can grey and high-gloss black. I'd be hesitant to re-do it in a bright colour, as it can look a bit too gaudy, but remember: it's your car, what you do with it is your business. I'd just recommend keeping it to a subtle colour.
yeah thats what i wanted to learn on all the pre pareing n what base paint n what paint to use how did you go cheers p.s got anymore pics i reakon it looks quality
