It was about 24c here in Melb today...was driving for about 45 mins.with aircon on....car temp was on 81c...looked down and light was on the one next to the battery symbol....stayed on for about 5 mins...turned aircon off and light went out in a few mins and since the hasnt come back on.(with aircon on or off)I looked in my manual and the symbol isnt there looks like a muffler shape with lines from it.can anyone tell me what this is....thanks
81c is fine for engine temp. Cat light means you were running very rich for a while or the sensor had an issue.
i had the exact same thing happen to me as well ricky, i searched the forums and found out what it meant and then i wasnt that worried. figured it was just the connection being a little dirty.
