the warning light is constantly ON whenever the engine is running, goes out only when the engine is off or the key removed......... yes the doors and hatch are shut. Kingy, is the light brightly lit or dim? I had an issue with the light being on dimly with the doors shut and it was a blown interior lamp fuse in the drivers footwell. Not saying this is your issue, but something to check out...
hmmmm my car had the some what the same problem but my light turned on when it wanted to.... turned out my drivers door is abit out and i fixed it by putting a thin spacer behind the door switch, also on mine the hood switch came loose and that caused it aswell.... couple more things to check out
My drivers door light comes on and off when it likes. When it goes dim, there's a clicking/rattling noise coming from the left rear. Push the button in and it goes out and the noise stops. I was with ezzupturbo when it happened and we were both scratching our heads. It's ok now but I'm sure this is not the end of it. I have bigger fish to fry, this can wait.
