    • Got Axel Tramp?
    • Are you taking off at the lights and the rear end feels like it?s going to bounce through the boot?
    • Would you like to gain more stability during cornering? Even out your tyre ware?
    The factory subframe bushes were not designed for handling or drifting in mind ? rather to be a cushy ride for the driver. As a result, NISSAN has designed their subframe bushes to be semi solid ? meaning that there is a lot of play in the bushes and the rear subframe can translate as much as 20mm during a slide in top gear.


    The D-Project Alloy Subframe Bushes SET is designed to lock the subframe in place by compressing the factory bushes and also locking them in place so they cannot move. The venerated Michael Truscott uses D-Project Alloy Subframe Bushes and has reported on his first outing with them that the ?rear end felt more stable and the tyres wore more evenly with less inner camber ware as compared to without?. This new design is easy to DIY install with basic tools with the car on jack stands due to its expanded entry to clear the subframe pins. NVH is not overly increased by standard due to the compressing of the factory bushes and is perfect for streetcars with any axel tramp problems in the dry or wet.

    You can also adjust the rear subframe for squat or anti-squat by including or excluding the front or rear two top pieces top angle the subframe.

    D-Project Adjustable Rear Traction Rods have the following features and benefits:
    • Required to get the perfect alignment on the Rear Nissan IRS. The Traction rod changes the pinion angle of the hubs (ie: Castor). The castor changes due to either adjustment from aftermarket rods or more importantly through the wheel travel. If the traction rod is not used, the pinion angle will not be correct and the bushes in the factory hub and traction rod will suffer from bush distortion leading to poor alignment and therefore tyre grip. This rod allows you to fine tune your grip or slip characteristics for each rear wheel to your specifications when combined with the Camber and Toe Rods.

    • Required to get the perfect alignment on the Rear Nissan IRS. The effects of Toe in general on a Rear Nissan IRS as follows: Toe In = Less over-steer and Toe Out = More over-steer. Essentially you can fine tune the rear grip characteristics of car to the power at the wheels. If you are a little underpowered, you can increase your toe out to compensate with this particular rod.     Unfortunately the supplier forgot to include one of the rings in the order, however I may have a new order due in about 1-2 months. I will have to check to see if we can perhaps get one sooner off some existing stock. The locking ring is just there to stop the turn buckle from moving whilst driving. Can you please email me some photos of the problem?

    I will be running a group buy of Z32 Tie Rod Ends shortly as we get them speically made due to the larger size of the pin (~18mm vs 12mm). I wil update this thread and post a new thread with the details as our next shipment is in the process of being organised.

    I'm after a pair of bushings. Are CASTOR ROD BUSHINGS and TENSION ROD BUSHINGS the same? Coz my mechanic told me to replace my castor rod bushings... :)
