  1. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Not breaking balls or anything, just registering an EOI on something like this (if possible?):

One of the side ones is what I'm referring to. Not one that cuts off the whole side of the boot like this (just not into it personally) -
One like this would be perfect - a replacement for the existing corner boot trip piece.

    oh,
I understand that you're busy and that I'm far from the first response so it's cool if there's a delay.

I would also like boxes as small as possible that would fit 12 inch subs

If you could do something like this, i would buy it in an instant! is this possible?

  4. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

I got that picture off google, but I'm pretty sure I saw it first in a Zed boot (no idea where)

tbh I'd buy 3 in an instant if you could do that, two for my next Zed! I think that's fiberglassing though... but it'd be damn awesome. For a sports car the Zed has a great size boot, and filling 1/2 of it with something that's only 12" wide is just daft.

To everyone interested in those back corner boxes, i am glad to see some interest popping up! XD

I will finish nobull's boxes off, and then i will set out straight away to make a replica of those boxes, and we will see where it goes from there. Cant make any time promises and my life has very quickly become quite hectic, but ill see what i can do for you guys. Will have at least a rough template up by the end of the month tho :D

some food for thought if the corner piece idea doesn't work out

Having a 12" sub like that will only work with a 2-seater. The boot is deeper than a 2+2.

  10. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Bummer ): well, like I said, food for thought either way.

If your thinking "outside the box" so to speak, argh horrible pun there -.-", ive looked up these on the net, looks like some nice space savers as the lid pulls up

And here is with the lid up.

Now this is just something to think about if your talking completely custom, the guy who built it said he used cardboard to trace out the groove of the boot then just traced the pattern onto plywood, then the rest is just standard cutting and sawing, then placing the cover over it.

If you could pull something like this off i would pay for it easily, I like all the new looks that Anti is showing aswell, this might turn into a full time job for ya :D.

Oh wow I hadn't even thought of having something like that! Thats so simple yet amazing!! I could actually have a boot that I could keep some tools etc in and no1 could see!! I have a cargo cover but that doesnt exactly cover well... +1 for this idea...I might just go make it myself ahaha

only problem wouldnt sound too good .. its pretty much a sub with no box or a shit box you need to have a certain volume to suit the subs and sealed or with ports a certain side .

Hmm this is true...I guess I was temporarily overwhelmed at the concept of having a boot ahaha

Could go with free air design subwoofers, as long as the back section is fairly sealed from the front area

Alternatively you could make the shelf a giant box on hinges. So instead of lifting the shelf, you're lifting a 200mm or so thick subwoofer box. That way you get the shelf, the box, and the boot space! :)

Downside is weight. You would need to brace it internally due to the size and shape. I would recommend some good quality door hinges! ^_^

this is an idea i do like very much..though about this with one on the other side as well...however making the box a lil longer so it kind of flows/curves with the boot lining in a 2+0

yeah corner sub boxes are what im after...lookin at fibreglass tho to reduce weight...the other pic with the rear boxes looks good too with the clear floor for the spare wall...
