This is what I been up to on Sunday, CUSTOM sub Setup and WILL take 12" subs both sides and the Targa roofs to. Just behind the seat will make a storge box of some sort, will be removable. Still Ruff Lots left to do WOW and a shot of my Sexy Interior :br: Will post the finshed boot pics ext week Catch up
Here is the Finished Product, fit's 2x12" subs + the Targa Tops neat as can be. I might be make Stensals of all the bits If people are interisted. PICS Just the carpet in the middle and 2 new subs and will be all done.
Very niiiiiiiiiiiice, good job! Would certainly be interested in the templates of all the pieces when you're finished, or maybe even talk to you about doing mine for cash if you're interested!
id use the extra area you have created to put some 6x9 speakers in. or it seems like a waste to me. you could of done what i did and make just corner sections IE:
Actually, I thought this place might be good with a simple hinge and snib/sliding bolt so it could be a small tool/storage area.
Mind blowing idea: put 6x9's there, and convert the shitty little stock speaker box 4x6 areas into two small tool boxes.
Yeah, if you really want to bother putting speakers in the back - personally I don't think you really need to bother, if you have decent splits in our confined cabin space. But if you really wanted them, yes it would be best to put 6x9's there and use the OEM speaker spots for storage.
You guys do know that 6x9s are designed for systems without subs, Most top line Installs don't have any Oval speakers. Im going to build a box that goes in between the two box's up againts the back seat For some tools
