*** Custom made targa bags group buy - roughly $70-$90

So my girlfriend is a fashion designer with access to necessary machines and has the skills necessary for making things from scratch.

I asked her to make me some targa bags and thought about maybe getting a bit of a group buy together and having her make a small run of them for people.

After researching whats out there at the moment the best option seems to be black vinyl with a very thin interior lining, custom coloured stitching and a Z embroidered logo for roughly $120 landed in Oz.

I have seen some targa bags that have had a bit of wear and tear from lack of padding, and a pair of targas that have had paint chipped through the bags due to lack of interior padding.



So this got me thinking about making a more sturdy design than whats out there. I was thinking about having her put a thick foam/sponge material on the inside of the bags- maybe 6-8mm thick. Still looking into materials available, I will be visiting a few suppliers to find a suitable material.



I will draft up a design and have her stitch them up with a custom red stitching on black vinyl. The interior will be padded with a protecting foam to prevent damage that can occur with flimsy thin bags, and ensure longevity of the bags themselves. There will unfortunately not be any custom embroidery, but the stitching colour can be selected. The top will have velcro across its length.


Just throwing up an *** for now to see if there would be any interest. I will have the first pair done in a week or two hopefully. Then I can present the level of workmanship and aesthetics. If all is well and there is some potential interest I will start taking orders and have a group buy run made up. She said she doesnt have time to make the odd individual bag here and there but if I get some numbers shell make them all up in a couple of days and have a few extra.



***- Pair of black (or whatever colour you like from a small range) thick vinyl targa bags with custom coloured stitching, a thicker than usual interior padded foam lining, and a velcro seal across the top . For now I will suggest a price of $90 delivered to your door- but this could potentially come down a bit depending on what foam material I can get hold of bulk.
