no-one said there was anything wrong with the standard ones but

as i have one in my 180sx you can feel the difference in them. much better response and control over the power delivery to the wheels. as this is a show your interest group buy with a poll, unless you are looking at getting one please send comments like that via PM.
    thanks

sorry.. i didnt mean it like that..

sometimes GBs need a little education to get octane flowing through their vanes

basically.. what is the benefit.. and what would the ballpark cost of these things be?

feel a difference? are we talking for drifting? i dont know what sort of response my diff is not giving me. i'm curious

    so it's a good upgrade

    for a 180sx?

does the Z32 have the same LSD as the 180sx?

Z32's have the r230 i think from memeory.. The 180's have the 1r180 or 200.... Can't remember exactly...

yes these are a great upgrade

until you drive a car with a diff like this then i guess its hard to explain. the easiest way i think is comparing std turbos to hiflows or an open wheeler to a std LSD... 2 way diff are much more responsive to throttle position, they lock up much faster than a std LSD and are more durable and efficient. they have stronger and more clutches the them. you can adjust the amount of tourque pressure lock up on them.

"According to Cusco's in house research, inertia is 50%-70% lower compared to the conventional cone plate LSD enabling lower drive friction and better respons"e

i love google, 2-way diffs act during acceleration and deceleration. 1 way only act during acceleration

i'm sure the cusco ones provide less drive train losses and the likes.. (dont believe sales pitches from the companies trying to sell it to you though.. just look at the twin-turbo zet, they claim up to 30% increase in power)

    yeah these

diff's lock on accel and decel. alot of fun with a lot less drive-train losses. they have 10 clutch packs inside so slip is very minimal and you can set them to lock soft, medium and hard
