Hey guy's, just out of sheer curiosity, I'd like to know how my 1990 2+2 Auto NA (Jspec) would stack up to a Honda Integra GSi (DC4?). I never bought my Zed fot the power, I bought it for it's sexy factor Hence it's the NA and not the TT, however a friend of mine will not let up about 'How much his Integra will destroy my 300zx' These comments never really bother me, since I'm not going to race anyway since he lives 400KM's away, but this has got me thinking. How would my NA fare should we take it to the strip? From my knowledge, his Integra is fully stock, as is my Zed. So any feedback would be appreciated, help quell my curiosity. Cheers
If it's stock you'll run about a 15.3-15.6. Integra GSi? I would think that you would safely beat him Not even VTEC yo! 107kw and 1150kg, my old corolla would have been faster.
haha much dislike for honda and lancer drivers who think there cars are super fast. tell him to race a lancer instead

Mate you will absolutely maul him! I had a 2 seater 5spd NA, and raced a mate in his GSI, he had full exhaust, and heavier clutch. We were at the lights, i was looking at something, lights went green, he gunned it, got about 3 carlengths ahead BEFORE i even took off, finally i punched it, caught up in half a second, overtook in another half a second, totally destroyed him. if ur zed is running the way a zed should. ie. no error codes, etc etc then you will beat him. otherwise he will beat u...
I'd say his zed would have to be pretty sick for the integra to beat him, i had a massive exhaust leak when i raced an integra in my na, and even then i beat him like he was standing still. edit: My bad, didn't realise he was talking about the new model integra. i gave a early 2000 model type r integra a run this morning on the way to work, and got him from behind, my na zed was a fair bit faster then his, afaik i was making 123rwkw on safety maps now running normal again not sure of power but wouldnt be over 130 i wouldnt think which is nothing special, so i reckon the integra would have no chance, unless your car had something seriously wrong with it
just wondering what would the comparison of a type R integra to a NA 300zx.....i didnt think this was true but mate recons type R should not be underestimated...
probably very close, but that's not what we're talking about here. car in question is a GSI and without vtec it's probably slower than a rolla or pulsar.
