hills 4 sure! then all the people who havent drove their zed can understand how it handles on the road!
voted north, but maybe past Yanchip to GinGin simply because there are some nice curvy 110k roads that way. Bring a Gerry Can lol (na, can fill up at Joondalup before pressing on) Other ideas would be 1) Drive the Perth Ring 2) Drive The Freeway North (Burns Beach) to South (Mandurah) (or the reverse of that plan). Maybe Lunch at Kings park or something 3) ANYWHERE with decent twisty roads. Also can we make the next one at 2am and have burnouts and racing as compulsory? (joke)
thanks for all the input guys.... just so everyone is aware, obviously we cant do all the ideas on one hit, so please if your idea isnt picked this time, i will endeavour to use surplus ideas for next time round..... i intend to start organising cruises on a pretty regular basis again, so dont worry no-one will miss out hehe:bash:
not a fan of the zigzags besides for a killer view at the top. twisties then go obrian... but at the same time if your stuck behind a slow ass driver it will be shit since its all single file, or if you do try and boost it you'll end up like andy
fair comments josh...... if we do the zig zags its for the view, and i will incorporate some "driving roads" in there as well, but driving fast plus the zig zags will equal disaster lol!! and agree about obrien road, good fun but a little on the dangerous side for some drivers.....
plus end at a pub like the boat or something, we have had a few cruises like that, ie ending at 1 location where you sit down for a drink + food and they never fail, my damn dam cruise your dunes cruise + scottie getting wasted and shaq doing burn outs for the 'locals' lol always a good day,
thats the plan, wherever we end we will be able to sit back and relax, the cruising can finish , but the socialising carries on into the afternoon hehe
You always gotta pull out that pic when talking about twisties. Im pretty sure you can crash on a straight road too. I think a good mix of twisties and long straight roads will please most. I went on a really good cruise a while ago that had a good mix, will try and find the map.
Rollaboyz - old school Rossco. Were you a member? I didn't go on that cruise but remember it happening. I think a drive up Yanchep way is good. Anyone been to Moore River? Nice spot, can pack a bbq or something. we have a display home at Yanchep which could be a end point for a bbq though i imagine it would be open for clients at that time of day. There was the one Draco organised to Dwellingup a while back, i have the map somewhere. That was a good cruise with the targas off and a beanie on.
i wasnt a member but was closely assoiated with people who were hehe it is old school isnt it, showing my age again lol!!! i will wait for a few more votes to filter in but im starting to develop a plan for this next cruise in my head......
LOL, Rollaboyz cruise was up to Kal when I lived there. Had the show at Ultratune and I won the Dyno comp for my class First show I put the Zed in and got trophies for that and the XW too Good times.
Ha,Ha Yeah Rosco, it's all in your head. I vote south, Dwelingup, but then I would cause I'm already south, he he. Andy
Absolutely love the Moore river; went to Guilderton for my leavers 3 years ago and loved it. Drove down there again last year when getting my license. Would be perfect for a cruise, too bad i need new shock absorbers before i try and leave perth in my zed... damn it rudd, what's taking you so long?!?!
