Also Chris is pretty much out for all on Nov... as he is working on call weekends of the 5th, 12th and 26th. As for the 19-20th we are interstate for a wedding.
So if you require his presence you will have to wait until Dec.

I'll get back to everyone on the Tech day location, but what days work for the Techday and next cruise. To start with how does the 6th Nov for the cruise, and the first weekend of Dec for the techday sound?
For the Cruise We can start a little earlier so that there is no traffic, but what is too early for everyone? I am happy to start at 6am, and end up some where for breakfast.
As for the tech Day, are people happy to have a tech night? or only full days? or would we like an over night event?

 

Our driveway has just been finished, so we can support 9 cars out the front, 2 in the car port and a heap more out back.

But stuff working on 20mm stones. haha.

Dave...ballast...i know where you live.... mwahaha - you may find your lathe missing, as i need one to make custom parts

 

Send the custom parts my way, happy to make them. Saves you lugging out the lathe

 

Can your head stock support 120mm diameter alloy stock?

Otherwise i was planning on using my mates, dads, industrial lathe, well at least one of them. Biggest he has is about 6 meters long. =)

 

For future reference don't forget that there are plenty of people in Melbourne happy to help out, picking her up and finding somewhere civilized to wait for you to come over and such.

 

It can, but it is a bit of toy lathe and may struggle. What are you up too?

She is back on the road again, Vic rego now so will probably get stopped somewhere over this side of the border..........

Next cruise

Nil responses recieved will plan a cruise for the 6th Nov, early departure 6-7am. Similar starting point. This time without the drama
standby for the post in coming events.
