I don't believe Customs duty would apply

on most things from the USA since we signed the FTA with them.
Have to pay GST though :D
I'll be talking to you soon about the polished Koyo radiator bracket :)

    K-Zed does the 100k kit..

Its $710 now and add extra for the GFB underdrive crank pulley :)
Its more comprehensive than most kits available and is a bargain IMHO..:zlove:
    Speak to him about it..;)

......That is enough to see if this idea is a goer or not. Could everyone else just hold off for a bit until we see if it is viable to members. :) Thanks:)

There are a few other businesse's on the Forum that sell over here for Coz, but always healthy to have competition. :D

    .....UPDATE......

    .......:) Hi folks:)

It has been confirmed by ConceptZ that there are indeed other distributors here namely TTZ and UAS, to mention just two. :zlove: In the light of that information I will not be proceeding with this association with Coz.;) I believe that there is enough service provided there already and no need for another.:) I am sure that those Companies would combine shipping orders to save costs for members if asked:) I wish to thank all those guys who showed interest in this endeavour. Paul.

and u didnt know this beforehand
neither of the 2 mentioned have ever offered us anything in the way of combined shipping ,not knocking either of the 2 u have said about but,uas dont answer enquiries that well, and ttz have to get the parts in 4 u,which is the reason most people go direct to coz anyway, its a shame this didnt come through as it was a service that looked to be a winner

they both seem to have a pretty high markup too from what I can tell.. it's like they go by Nissan Australias prices even though Nissan buy their stuff from Japan for around what they retail for in the US.

    ....I am sure......

.....that if you speak to Jen at TTZ you will be well looked after regarding price and shipping costs:) I was told that I would be buying at the same price as both TTZ and UAS anyway.:)

    Paul,

There is probably no reason why you couldn't continue with it. Especially if you were to keep stock on shelf. Competitive pricing and service should see it work for you I would think.

In the meantime, I am happy to quote on parts direct from Japan for you which may or may not be a cheaper buy price for you.

With more and more business' such as Amec and now Tom @ PZP and Nick @ Adelaide Z cars getting into the parts side of it, you may find that the market is covered but hey, anything is worth a go.

Happy to help where I can.
    Cheers
    John

Paul, by no means be put off......

Dealing with Coz. Competition is healthy :)

TTZ try to keep the prices competitive, but sometimes we lose out to those who go directly to japan or other sources, we can't win them all and as I stated in other posts, my wage is also paid by the business so it is more than one person. However, when it comes to New, OEM items being sourced from Aus, I still feel we have quite a good price, try asking your local dealer next time you need a part from Aus and then ask us.

I think that Rob and Caz may also deal with Coz, and I am sure, if they do, that they will agree, Coz supplies a good price and products.

Landed shipping prices can sometimes be the problem when dealing with any overseas business unless you are buying items in bulk or shipping via container. When you receive small orders (quantity) and they have to be sourced from overseas, those people generally want them in a short time frame, this is usually where the cost is, as it is usually coming air and the price gets jacked up with the US mail, conversion of the $$ and customs etc...just to be aware.

    Cheers
    Jen

I regularly order from Coz and also try to keep the basic popular parts in stock...such as PTU's , gaskets, seals, hoses, fans, brake shims, knock sensors and harness, bolts ect.

As Blondie mentioned the costs involved when you are a 'business' are higher... GST is always a killer :(

But as you guys know, if I can't supply it cheaper than you can buy direct from Coz or someone else, I tell you :) Simon at TTZ used to do that for me and I always appreciated it.

    Caz.. :)
