I have a buyer interested in my (QLD regod) Zed from Victoria and he has asked about any known complications with the - Green compliance plated Import with QLD RWC being transferred to Victoria.

I said there shouldn't be any problems but does anyone have any 'statutory' knowledge on this ..

    Thanks all.

I believe the green plate is a full compliance to ADR's, so should be no issues. It's more of an issue with the blue mod plate compliances.

Green plate is fine anywhere in Aust. Like chrispy said it's when you have a blue qld mod plate or no plate that things start to get tricky.

    Thanks for your help.

As I recall the Green plate - ADR compliance was one of the things I made sure was included in the purchase.

It can be seen in the engine bay pics here>>

The other chaps are quiet right, the green plate is fine australia wide, the blue one for qld is too say it passes qld's guidelines on modifications, which may be okay in other states BUT not necessarily. But it may help the potential new owner if you have a list of "mods done" so when they need too get the relevant mod plate in that state.

I went all through this recently, I required rwc, all numbers had to match from previous rego. Vic roads would not tell me what the numbers were, a simple qld rego search with 10 bucks give me what I needed to know. you will also need proof of sale from previous owner, that's it, no questions mines is quite standard 89 tt auto modifications don't seem to matter so long as it is "roadworthy." remember verify the vin and engine numbers or you may come unstuck.

Edit: just realised you are the seller, not buyer but the info is still right
