Attention all those with an artistic flair! Here is your chance to make a long time statement in the aus300zx.com community. What we are searching for is a design for the commemorative shirt available for ZedFest 2010 in Armidale and possibly, the new forum banner that will replace the one used for the previous 4+ years. Ideally what we are looking for is something fresh, lively with a splash of colour. It must contain the following key points; www.aus300zx.com The Australian 300ZX Owners Association ZedFest 2010 Armidale Something that impacts a Z statement (some sort of image) The image that will be used to replace the forum banner will either be a modified version of the one selected for the shirt or unique. The winner/s will receive a free ZedFest 2010 Shirt and chosen by a poll from a short list. All submissions are to be posted in this thread. EDIT: A new banner has been chosen, submissions for the ZedFest Shirt only please!
Hey.. Karl How about you have a poll first to see if the majority of the members want to change our banner. Lets not change it, just for the sake of change, it has served us well over the years & everywhere we go it is recognised as the emblem of the "aus 300 association". Also think of the merchandise that we already have with our present emblem. ie: ID Cards thanks to Benny. Stubbie Holders - Wykked. Shirts - Keza. And Im sure there's more as well. If you want a shirt for Armidale, as we have done in the past,fine, that's great, Im all for it. But don't mess with the Association Banner/Emblem. It is what defines us as members of a unique group of motoring enthusiast's. Cheers Kerry
I'm with Keza These are the ones i had made up for Gilgandra 2004 Still think they look good today. Oh and i'm still owed for five of them., but i'm not bitter, much.
also agree why change something that is already good, unique and vastly reconised without confusion. I'll give the shirt a crack once i am at home. is personalised ok? Definately all for keeping our logo though
The design on Keza's and the Gilgandra shirts are not what we currently use anyway. Don't worry, the banner is not getting changed without a consensus. You never know, something might come in everyone might like, just like when the current one (design by CANDU) was adopted from the previous example. Never be affraid of change. I'm glad Nissan wasn't affraid of change otherwise the 300ZX would not have evolved from the 31 to the 32 .
I like change. No matter how good, everything has it's time. Something to earmark a certain celebration should have it's own symbol. A club logo is different, it needs to withstand the passing of time, but a logo for zedfest 2010 should not be the same as zedfest 2008. Let's make a different one for Armidale.
are you guys after something different just at the top of the page? not a big change but i remember submitting it a far while back... or after something really different with our own motto sort of thing
I just did a 300ZX painting for my wall of my Z (wing and VS C1 front) its sort of a flowy outline, ill post it up to give everyone ideas.
The banner should be changed! It's stark bland and colourless. Armidale, may as well be Darwin for us in the south!
That's because you soft southerners can't even bother making it to Cowra, what's it matter? There was about 3 of you IIRC...
