i read they purchased it as a repairable write off, obviously fixed her up and wacked a couple turbos on it. was looking forward to coming up but was told i had to pull up a concrete slab in the garage at the last minute .
No need to talk about money, they still have the bmw, it was out at the last test and tune 2 weeks ago.
We flooted between Vince Regoli team and mazsport ( mate looking at buying a rx2 coupe 20b that was their) and catching up with a few mazda people from back in the day. The queen street rx3 which done the 7.2 was a mazsport engine. The gas cars although art work still a bit disapointing, should be low 6 second cars considing the number off 7 second cars. After seeing the pain vince has been through with the hilux, good to see it in the 8's Vinces ute now approx 700 rwhp at 58psi plus nos , not bad for a 2 litre ( broke a valve seat, mid 7's soon. ross

queen street smash repairs owned the car and he said he could not drive a car stock so he had to mod it, after he was done he sold it to a mate changed the plates too used to be QS (featured in blood sweat and gears)
A Mate of mine from down here at canberra is into a hotrod nut and has a beaut 1941 Cadillac was down their getting a quote for his rod and said to me he seen a glamour 300zx with eggplant\candy apple getting sprayed. And he asked the guy how much and his reply was $12k. Thats how they make their money
For a full respray in a unique color...especially with effects any where over 10 grand is probably what you'll pay...most places charge like that...
