VIC Colac Custom Car and Bike Show

The event has grown dramatically since the first show (10years ago ??? ) and I've been a regular at it since day one with a vehicle on display every year.

Last year a few zedders showed up for a look and we had 4 ZX's on display + a few onlooker ZX owners that made the trip for a gander, the corvette club won the highest club turnout and our ONBOOST club came 2nd......

Would members be interested in trying to win it on behalf of the forum ????? ....
if so we'd need around 30 ZX's :help:


Down side=> the Central Square is approx 1 city block in size, this means many cars wont get in as it fills up FAST !! ( full by 9.30am last year !! ), so if a cruise down to this event and an entry to it was going to happen...... we need to be in the Square by 8:30am




However...... there is a Drivein movie the night before so a w/ender might be the go for those that dont want an early drive from Melb etc.....
I can help with affordable accomindation if ppl let me know asap..... 1/2hour drive to the venue so a 8.00ish start on the day of the show....

This is a non profit event which enables people to show their cars and bikes. Entrants come from all over the State and Interstate to show their vehicles. The general public and entrants can see a huge number of cars and bikes, enjoy food, live music and trade stands

If I can get rid of my Friday night shift, it sounds like a great event to attend.

This show isnt just "hotrods"..... infact they only hold about 25% of the total number of cars at the most

There's a VAST array of cars from aussie racing cars, restored cars, hotrods, imports, custom push bikes, & custom m/cycles too ..... from the early T buckets to the latest production cars...

something for everybody

reminder ....... its this w/end !!



Dont have to put your car "in the show" ( which requires a small entry fee ).......

but....

you can put your car "on display" which has been a free entry over the last 10 years..... you just dont win any trophies !

Remember .... you need to be in the park by 9:00ish to get a good spot ( in the shade if its hot )
Late arrivals will get crappy spots like next to the dunny, or beside a corvette ( if there's a differance !! )
