Coilover spring rates for circuit racing

    My GT28rs turbos come in at around 3300rpm, I try not to let the revs drop below this line, I have raised my rev limiter to 8000rpm to allow me to drop to 2nd gear around the hairpins at Willowbank (queensland raceway) around Lakeside I am easily able to keep revs above 3300 in 3rd gear.     Just an update after a practice session at Lakeside yesterday. This session was to test the firmer coilover spring rates 750lb front and 550lb rear, overhauled Zeal coilovers and new bushes.
    The car was significantly better, turned in very positively, allowed me to hold a much tighter line, hit the apexes and get power down earlier and quicker. Tyre wear was much more even with next to no scrubbing.

    A real win, cant wait until the Lakeside Tribute weekend on 15/16 March to really find out how much difference it has made
