    Hey guys,

    It is i! and i am still having troubles with my clutch.

    Ok here's the senario;

    Clutch was replaced with heavy duty full face organic clutch 8 months ago. Over them months the clutch bite point has slowly came back towards the floor. Reciently it started slipping (reciently i've been driving like a granny so she dont slip) other week i went to simmo's and i adjusted the clutch but after a day it had moved back to where it was before. Reciently i have noticed when hooning (not enough to make it slip) as i change gear at high rpm the clutch doesnt feel like its quite got that push back on release like it usually does...

    Am i right in assuming it might be a leak of some sort?

    I'd look for leaks but i dont really have a clue what i'd be looking for...

    Tom did bleed it when he saw it last to see if that did the trick....

    susgestions?

    So you have a new clutch-is that just the plate or the the presuure plate as well? It sunds like you have a slipping clutch but when it's that new it shouldn't slip unless you have heaps of power or you have no mercy for it only you know if that's the truth or not. If your clutch plate is ok then it's probably your pressure plate is not giving enough clamping pressure on the clutch plate. Are you sure you got a heavy duty clutch etc and didn't get shafted by mechanic with some cheap rubbish clutch? Unlikely but you have to cover all the possibilities. My guess is the pressure plate though.

    Well actually im 100% sure i wasnt shafted because the work was done by no other than minivan and Zrated! :)

    And for the record i've never done a burn out with this clutch i've been nice to it...and my car was only running 170KW at the wheels before i put boost jets in, (from 9psi to 11psi now) so not sure how many horsey's i got atm... wouldnt be too much more...

    Tordek,

    Give me a call, your clutch wasn't bled at both points... it was just a quickie because you had no fluid what so-ever in the res...

    I'll be happy to bleed your clutch properly in the coming weeks.

    Cheers,

    Tom
