    Hi Guys and Girls,

Recently I have been having problems with my Zed, it hurts inside deeply!
The problem is when i go to take off, my Zed makes a grinding noise (only happens when i let the clutch out), Hasnt happened in reverse im fairly certain.
Also when im on the highway or generally driving it grinds going into 4th, but if i hold the clutch in longer and leave the shifter centered and wait for a bit (mind you im still driving) then put it in 4th i have no grinding.

It has a twin plate clutch also.

    please help.

Sounds like your synchros may have gone :wacko:

If your clutch is fine then your synchros may have worn. This may be due to the twin plate clutch you have installed (places heavier load on the gearbox).

also you could try getting the gearbox oil replaced

with some decent stuff like redline or similar to help with the grinding into 4th.
