Clutch Pivot ball install.

    hi,

    my pivot BALL (as in the actual ball on the end) snapped off my pivot ball couple days back and i can just get to the hexaon section through the hole in the tranny. Has anyone ever replaced one without taking the box off? Any ideas?

    So once you change the pivot how are you going to get the fork back on? ;)

    Just pull the box.

    I changed mine when I did the clutch cant see it being done witht he box on :(

    Upgrade ur clutch while your at it and buy a chromeoly pivot ball from cos for $35 bux Sik :D

    no way of changing without pulling the box mate!!!. u only need to move it back a few inches back not a big job
