so i have finished a engine swap with a mate of mine, the issue he is haveing is the slave cannot push the clutch fork in. just wanting to know where to start looking, the slave is fully extending whilst of the box. he's not sure if he installed the friction plate the right way arround aswell would this cause these problems ?

a far as I know there are a number of issues you can have with the clutch.

it could be the plate is round the wrong way but that isn't an easy mistake to make...
it could be the lever/arm isn't on the thrust race the right way and it's slipped out.
it could be the fulcrum ball for the arm is broken or the arm isn't on it correctly.

either way it's most likely a box out job.
maybe someone else cana give other advice as well....

    good luck.
