sorry if this isn't posting under the proper thread i'm not used to this style of Forum. Anyway i'm only on here to get some facts straight before my name is dragged through the mud more... Firstly thanks to those people who donated some money for the Bungee Jump i'm doing...i do appreciate your generocity, i'll ensure Aus300ZX also gets thanked from Starlight Now for those of you who read my post on Tuned, i know it was very harsh but after hearing from the cops why they were at the first meet point it made me wonder and hence my post on Tuned that night. But lets start from the beginning...yes i had been drinking earlier that afternoon and finished about an hour or so before the cruise started. But I had paced myself and figured that i should be ok to drive given i had had roughly 1 drink per hour and i'm a large build. Anyway, no excuse i suppose for having a BAL above .05...but i think that was cuz i was stupid and had a drink of beer between Entertainment Centre and Hillary's...so i bumped my BAL above the limit...anyway it was wrong of me to have that beer and i think given the reading i made i would of been quite ok if i hadn't of had it...but hey only got myself to blame...so can we all stop with this BS about me being "pissed" or really pissed etc etc etc...as i was far from being pissed but still had alcohol in my blood system...als the final reading was calcualted at .067% no that much above the limit, but yes still over... So i think that covers the DD offence and why i didn't pull a reading that would result in loss of licence... As for the incident around that round about...that was more a combinatino of 2 things and not me being so called "pissed" (even if i did put that on Tuned at the time if wrtting that post)...what happened is i came into the round about kinda hot on speed but still ok to go around without drama if i'd left the gear in 3rd...instead i'd dropped it down to second to accelerate out the corner better and the slope of the road (to the left) kinda gave me a shift in body weight and unfortunately putting my foot on the gas caused the rear to come out and i fished it hitting the curb and almost one of you in the left lane (who i'm sure i appologised to when they came up at the first meet point and asked if i'd done any damage to the car)...it was stupid of me to do, but previously before i'd added the zaust to the car i could go around that round about in 2nd and pretty much tramp it out of the round about and have no loss of control...anyway i'm not trying to make excuses i'm jsut explaiing things so these rumours that are gonig around are put to an end or at least provided with the facts... In support of my intoxication, the one guy from SilWA who was on the crusie had me on camera and said i didn't appear or look pissed to him (which i wasn't as i had stopped drinking about 2 hours before and didn't do it in excess...like i said my error was having that one extra beer which I think resulted in the high BAR)...the cops also didn't question me further so i guess i must of been sober enough but still over the limit... Now the reason why you had so many cops on your arse was i had the one officer drive my car to the police station so it wasn't sitting on the side of the road...he saw the map on my passenger seat and grabbed it when they got back to the station...they then radio'd ahead and hence you guys were hounded by cops...but not before they had several reports from various people anyway about speeding cars on the freeway...(the cops assumed it was you guys from the description of the cars given while they were taking me to the station)...but i didn't snitch on you guys it was merely the map was in the car and they saw it...all i told them was the cruise ended in carousel somewhere cuz the one cop was bugging me about it (and saying i don't know wasn't realyl a good answer to give) and now back to the post on Tuned...the reason why i was so pissed off an annoyed was the cops told me they came to the meet point after receiving a complaint about reckless driving on my part and the caller having to slam their brakes on to avoid hitting me...this occured on the one round about entering Hillary's...the only car i can think of was one coming from the left as i'd already got on the round about and they had to stop quickly as they were approaching with speed themselves (but i was in right of way)...anyway given the incident at the one round about, which was not intentional or a result of alcohol...i wondered if it was a 300ZX driver who made the call rather than come up and speak to me about what had jsut happened and get an explaination...then if i did something silly later fair enough call the cops...but to do it without coming up and talknig to me first is jsut rude i think and being a dog...but as i said it all seemed a bit too coincidental and so when i got home i was still annoyed at that possible aspect so vented on Tuned...looking at some remarks on here though, it does make me wonder if one of you did call the cops after the curb clipping instead of coming up and talking to me... I accept responsibility for what happened to me that night but i stand by what i said about how i feel about snitches...and i'm not saying your all snithces, i'm jsut saying from the information i've gathered so far it possibly looks like one of you could of done it.. and also before i go...can't remember who said it...but what was so "wierd" about me?? I'm jsut interested as i didn't speak to many people so just wanting to know why you think i'm wierd?? obviously you judge a book by it's cover and not meet the person to make a judgement on their character...ohh well like someone said about me "some people" hey... But in closing to those few Z's that i could of collected by my error, my appologies for the scare, as i said it wasn't an intentional thing as i don't want to intentionally damage my car either... I think thats enough for now...now for the backlash and other comments that will no doubt be made... p.s. Tuned isn't responsible for my actions nor condones my actions...i'm a free lance...i go and do what i please... also i doubt your all angles on the road so don't be a hypocrite about what i did... also just out of interest how did the rumours start about me being pulled up for my zaust being too loud etc?? just seems strange to start a rumour like that when other cars that night probably had loud zaust like mine and all left before me but the cops let them go...also nice to know people get facts before spreading rumours...and in reply to what can be said about my Tuned post...i had some facts and made an assumption on them so at least i can be partially right, not like jsut stating i was pulled over for this or i was "pissed" when i think body language would indicate i wasn't...
Gotta respect your courage for posting that up dude..... all is good in my books and I witnessed it along with the zed next to you. I posted my feelings on tuned so when caz has it all up and running you can read all about it. Respect Paul

I also did donate to your charity bungie jump thing, so i have no issues with u at all, i think we said hi once and when i donated, but didn't talk again I just can't believe what happened, thinking about it now, got soo many phone calls that night, one might have been from the police, will never know.... Brave or stupid some people find it hard to tell with me but i wanted to clear up the rumours that were gonig around before things got too out of hand...i know that my post on Tuned as wrong and very harsh...but at the time i posted it they were my feelings as i wouldn't of minded if it was all from a random breath test, random police stop etc, but to find out it was a call in complaint and the location of the said incident, it jsut got me mad as i was recallnig that serieso f events in my head...as no matter what happens(ed) on a crusie i'd never dob a fellow cruise participant into the cops...at least not without coming and speaking to them first and say dude yadda yadda yadda, i'll call the cops if you do it again (which is fair enough in my books)...but still i probably wouldn't even then... so once again my appologies for that but i do feel very strongly about snitches... i'm especially sorry to Paul and those other few Z's that were around me at the time i clipped the curb...i honestly didn't do it intentionally as i did realise all of you were around me at the time plus i really don't wana fuk my car up either... But yeh..thats all i really came on here for, info gets back to me and well i can't help but not reply to things..especially when they are unconfirmed rumours... From what I heard at Carousel aparently the report might have been made from a member of the public not on the cruise. Makes no difference but, end result can't be reversed. I missed the roundabout incident completely. Was in the second pack. There was plenty of banter about it at Hillarys, but I couldn't see much damage on your wheel. Couldn't miss you but, I would have been PISSED if I'd curb rashed my rims but you seemed pretty impressed with it all. I donated to your jump with the girl doing the collecting so didnt get to chat to you. However I didn't hear of anyone from this club even hint at dobbing you in. It's just not done in my book. Might have been a mistake to actually go up to the cops and ask for a donation with alcohol on your breath like you did though. You don't think they decided to finger you after that?

We got pulled over just after Graham Farmer freeway - not for speeding but because the front plate was displayed on the front windscreen and not on the front bar. We did get asked if we were part of a 'Car RALLY' and then repeated as 'CAR RACE' - to which we replied we werent. Could have been then that they already knew ahead of the cars that were cruising and we were picked up for a check because of the missing front plate... All in all I think it wasn't a bad night... but do think in the future we need to think about what we do and how we drive... Mike

Ahh i was annoyed at the rim damage but that rim was already curbed slightly ages ago from a fuk'n car park curb..GRRRR, so cuz of that i took at as it needed to be fixed anyway...i was fuming inside but knew it was my own fault so no point whinging about it... Nah the cops didn't even realise it was me that came up until i thanked them later on for the donations...and as for smelling alcohol...i wouldn't know, but only way i'd know is if someone standing close to me on the night could smell it...if not then i think i'd of been ok with that aspect...but no, they made it quite clear why they pulled me over...can't see why they would lie about the reason...if it was cuz of smellnig alcohol on my breath they would of said it..not likely they would fabricate a reason why they pulled me over if they have a justified one already... I'm not sure exactly where or who the complaint came from, but the only reason i was possibly looknig in this direction was cuz of what the cops told me about the complaint..it may have been a member of the public, but to me there is also a possibility it could of been someone from here...who knows i was jsut saying that it was pretty rude if it was someone from here or on any car cruise/club for that matter...i jsut don't think in the scene we are in it is called ofr unless a person has been warned first about their behaviour... But whats done is done...as i said i jsut came on here to stop the rumours that were being spread about me and to make sure Tuned wasn't being looekd at badly due to a few mistakes i did that night...

I don't think anyone here would be dobbing you in without comming up to you and saying something to your face first - I know I would if someone did something stupid next to me... so I'd think it was some member of the public... and your plates are quiet easily recognisable and easy to remember - therefore Identification is easy as well.
yeah i know Yeah i know my plates aren't exactly hard to read...even the cops mentioned thats the problem with custom plates...but i don't know any of you and given the informatino at hand it was one of 2 possibilities...but i'll trust Mike and take his word that it is more likely a membero f the public...its only the second time thats ever happened though first time was some fuk on Reid Hwy who was donig 60 in the 90 zone reported me for overtaknig them and saying i was donig excessive speed...more liek i was actually donig the speed limit past him...but anyway this is at an end now...
