Run like crap for the first 20 mins or so, gave me a bit of a scare actually, all's good now though. Also cleaned some of the connections in the engine bay with contact cleaner as well. I was going to make one of those grounding kits on TTnet but couldn't find any 8-10 guage wire around here. Gonna look next weekend.

I haven't really noticed much difference yet, except that the car is now idling alot higher even when warm ?!? at about 1200rpm. Previously it was fine. I was thinking maybe cause I had the battery disconnected for a few hours that the ECU is just re-adjusting and will sort itself out over time. Still getting code 34 though. Dang.

    After cleaning the throttle bodies....

you may need to re-adjust the idle because you now have a little more air entering the engine. To do this, disable the ECU control from the IAA by pulling off the yellow connector on the IAA unit. Then adjust it with the idle screw. Once you put the connector back on, the idle should rise about 50prm indicating that the ECU is back in control.

I understand your fears, I've done mine twice and it scares me every time. Car didnt want to start for a few minutes, and when it did it ran really crap and blew heaps of black smoke..:)

    Cheers

    Thanks Jedi-77

Where is the IAA unit anyways? I'm gonna see if I can find a write-up on it somewhere. Hopefully that should fix the problem.

BTW, how often do should you do your TB's?

    The IAA....

is at the back of the engine, on the passenger side near the battery. I have circled it in green in the photo below. The blue dot is where you'll roughly find the connector you have to take off, and the yellow dot signifies where you'll find the idle adjust screw.
