Hi all, did a search on this and found a nice one for the 2 seater but this won't really work for the 4 seater.
I was wondering if anyone has a method for doing a nice clean looking install for a rear strut brace on the 4 seater? i'd like as small a hole in the trim as possible. for the 2 seater the trim can just be cut through from the bottom as the brace is so low on the trim anyway but on the 4 seater the bar is up quite high, so it would be nice if there was a way to just cut a small hole for the bar whilst still being able to do up the bolts etc...

For reference, can you link the 2 seater one you found?

Here's mine (2+2). You could cut smaller holes but I miscalculated where to cut on both sides :p

Ah yep that looks ok, but how did you do it? Did you cut the holes then slide the trim bits over the bar to the centre, bolt the bar up and then the trim bits slide back into place over the bar and the rear seat latches etc?

Depends on the type of strut brace.....

I have a Cusco strut brace, so it was an easy job because the brace is adjustable (brace and brackets are separate). If you have a one piece brace it will involve a lot of fiddling.

Here's a pic of the holes in my covers
