Check the last 2 posts here. Consider also that the air, which is a poor conductor of heat, is only in the plenum for a matter of seconds, hardly enough time for it to increase in temperature more than a degree or so - the difference between summer air temperature and winter would have more impact on performance. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=290448
went with polished on mine. Throttle bodies and cam covers also. Finished product is awesome. Didnt really put much thought into heat dissipation however.
