Cheat your way to better door seals

I found that my door seals are seated around a strip of metal running along the top of my door.
If you pop them off this strip and fold them INSIDE the strip, they become more purkey and sit flush with your window/door again instead of being the old, flat, compressed shape they have grown to become.
Its not much, but its enough!

This is by no means a fix, but hay! I can drive in rain and wash my car without drips :D

Cannot wait to get up and try this !

Given my rubber is still 20 years old - it looks like a great tip that will help keep the drips out in the pouring rain and save me some big dollars!

Cheers for the piccies and technical diagram in the meantime

    seems like a good idea.

certainly worth a try for anyone who is sick of the wet drivers seat every morning.

    This is great
Worked a treat for me not that I had any drips anyway but made a tighter cushion when the door is shut.
Total genius 10/10 for recycling haha

    That is great!

When I had my 300ZX, I payd for brand new seals. Installed them. STILL LEAKED lol.
