    front rotors well your looking at around the $170 mark for the pair...

    Pads well depends anything from say $30 upwards... Really depends what type of pads you want to use and what brand as well...

    Lets say for a good braking system around the $300 mark give or take a little...

    Brembos... :cool: R33 GTR Brembo's will bolt straight up with big rotors and braided lines. The lot for around $1000!

    Mine are sitting at the post office waiting for me to collect :zlove:

    Really there is no cheap simple mods for the NA. Have a look through my Garage for stuff to do to yours.

    Swaybars are always good, so are good tyres, HID's, good sterio, new shocks and springs, strut braces, the list goes on... Be warned, I have spent over $17,000 in the last 18months :eek:

    or ask me since you live in melbourne if you want rotors and pads ;)

    I would go for ebc pads the green stuff can do for around the same price as the rotors...

    Chrispy: Can you break down the price on how much it all cost?

    Set of Iridium spark plugs from TTZ: $87

    How much were you planning on spending?

    If you can afford it, get in on the Brake Upgrade GB by Rob260 (see Group buys) and pick up a set of Braided lines @ $195. Will make your braking a little more firm.

    Brembos where about $570 off e-bay
    Braided lines are about $200 in the current GB
    GTR slotted rotors about $320 from Caz

    So about $1090 + shipping from all over the country side.

    I was going to go the UAS big brake kit (the one with the GTR rotors and adaptors) but since I have a NA I would have to buy new calipers anyway so I tracked down a set of second hand R33 Brembos. They where only a couple of hundred more than TT calipers and have heaps of street cred :p All those Turbo cars will be too scared to race me :rolleyes:

    The R34/Z33 ones apparantly bolt up but will need to be sleeved as they have larger bolts than the Z32 stock.

    I also go the UAS brake ducts, for the money i couldn't be bothered making them myself...

    underdrive pulley, thermo fan.

    for an NA i imagine the best mods will free up the engine a bit.

    Two cheaper things come to mind;
    1)Underdrive pulley, lightens rotating mass and slightly lessens drag of accessories on the engine. Will help with low rev end. about $300.
    2)Thermo fan, fitting a good quality electric thermo fan will free up top end power. About $250 for a good SPAL fan, and thermostat kit about $50.

    [only cheap if you DIY the fitting]

    Ghetto cheap;
    Sometimes its possible to advance the timing a bit by moving the CAS. Be careful with that tho you dont want detonation (pinging) to occur.
    Cold air ram charging intake, mounting your pod so that at speed the air gets slammed into the intake. Sometimes funnels and piping aid this.
    Make sure your car isnt running in 'safety boost' mode, yes its an NA but if its got error code 34 (bad det sensor circuit) youll have limited valve timing and rich running.
