    Hey guys got a Question:

I am having some hesitation/ stumbling when going from first to second. It only happens when u first take of for the day or when u take off after turning the car off and letting sit for a while but it isn't cold.

What happens is take of rev up to around 3500rpm then change into 2nd when releasing the clutch it like bunny hops i have to 80% of the time push the clutch back in. The rev drop quite low almost to stall then jump back up again.

    its a 1990 N/A Mannual Of course

And no its not my driving i know how to use a clutch.
any help would be great guys..

    Cheers simon

sounds like the beginning of the clutch being on the way out, goes from shuddering a little to slipping which gradually worsens

    HOPE NOT

Clutch is 2months old Spent 1200 on one JWT 700kg clamping force but had problem with it when installed started to slip new have to get master cyclinder reconditioned help haha

Its more that the clutch is gripping but theres no power it feel like when u pull the clutch up with out any acceleration and it stalls maybe rpm drops to much when change what could cause that???

i had a new clutch fitted about 6 or 7 months ago, heavy duty, 3200lb (1500kg) clamp load, it always shudders a little when the engine is cold or even after driving if the engine has been cooling for a half hour or so, after about ten minutes from cold and five minutes from warm it bites straight away then and doesn't shudder at all, one thing it has done though is stuff up my tailshaft centre bearing, so i bought a single piece tailshaft, haven't fitted it yet though
cheers, hope this helps a bit
