Key will not unlock door it has a tisonics car alarm in it! Any Ideas? Thanks in advance

    Usually under the dash mate.

How old is the alarm? This happens when they age...

    Hi Kiff,
I'm selling a brand new alarm if that's a route you might take. For sale thread HERE.

That'd be the way to go, just upgraded to one of these myself due to 7yr old alarm having exactly the same issue kif has described

You might be better off getting the same one you've got. If that means just swapping over the module, rather than rewiring the whole damn car...choice is yours ;)

not that hard to rewire hey, just take your time and work through the wires one by one, however i do admit, i did need a lil help from ztoy to sort the central lock wires on mine due to old dead alarm, most alarm basic functions are fairly similar hey.......

That's a shame. I did some Googling, found the company, and the new one is on its way. I guess I'm lucky.

As rob260 said, it's probably under the dash. Get a light and have a look up under the steering wheel, you're probably looking for some sort of box or something :p
Watch the pedals though...trying to get your head around those silly things is a bit shit. Who needs 'em?
