Hey Guys The locating/drive pin for the CAS has broken off and gone missing from my passenger side exhaust cam. Who else has had this happen to them, how do you go about fixing it? I did manage to get the CAS to line up based on dirt marks though am not content with this. Came across this on coz's site http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart...&Car_Type=300&UID=2012061018510658.111.200.76 Has anyone used it? Does it simply 'cap' over the existing sprocket/drive or is it braized soldered on??? Thanks Matt.
There is an install doc on JWT's website. EDIT: Here ya go: http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/VG30DETT_CAS_COUPLING_MISALIGNMENT.pdf
Geeh, thanks but I think I will be content in the way I originally lined it up and then use timing gun from there. The sprocket itself is fine it's just that locator.
I needed one of these ages ago now I know . I had a PITA lining mine up again (inexperience 3 years ago)
Yeh I'll just leave it. I think once I have it lined up and timing set, I'll put the CAS out and mark the rear of the CAS with a paint pen and mark the drive in relation to the rear of the CAS.
