just did a carbon canister delete using this guide: http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/6901.html

which was perfect, but I'm unsure as to what I do with these two hoses?

The small one that goes into the chassis rail (center) and the black one in front of the rad overflow. can I just cut them off?

just leave the one in front of the overflow bottle and the other one can be taken out by unbolting it from in the engine bay. its a couple of hard pipes and they're a real bastard to get to because they're under the fuse box. just unbolt them, get really angry and then rip the shit out of em.

its there for a reason dude, unless you want excessive fuel smells in summer. if you do remove it make sure your vent line isnt resticted either..

and you wont get over the pits with a car that stinks like fuel

Yeah carbon canister good, venting fuel to atmosphere bad...

Perhaps you can redirect the air from the Air Brake, so that it disperses the fuel vapour(then, there's always the Tardis, isn't there)?;):p:zlove:

I've done this, removed all the lines. I think only twice had a very feint fuel scent, but it was coming from the rear left of the Zed. I actually had FAR more fuel smell in engine bay with the CC in... but my arguement is completely null when I realized why during course of stripping the Engine Bay, lol.

Thinking about putting another Carbon Canister unit back in some time in the future, but not the OEM one. Saw some pretty nifty small compact ones that I liked. I only removed it because it was too large to fit with the bigger SMIC.

i think it would be too big to fit there but then im just guessing. i have my fuel filter there and it doesn't really leave much room.

Yeah that's what i was thinking too. The R33 unit Chad is using looks like a good swap and is miniscule compared to the factory unit
