OK so after doing a thermostat replacement on the weekend I now find that my Zed is acting strange. While under throttle it runs fine, but when I remove my foot from the accelerator and then touch it back lightly, the car 'bucks'. Its kind of hard to explain, but is something like a surge / hesitation. I am thinking it might have something to do with the TPS and I might have bumped something during my tinkering.

    Any ideas????

    Cheers

Run the ECU diagnostic codes ... go from there (easy--->

    Possibly theTPS

My car is doing this as well. Also Idle is sticking at around 1200rpm intermittantly. Try this, while the car is idling move the connection to your TPS. When I do this the rpms change. It should n't and indicates a problem. Now my connections are clean so I may have a problem with the sensor, however yours may have corrosion. Pull the connector off and give it a good clean. In fact if you haven't already done it you should go around the engine bay and clean all electricl connectors. Especially those to your PTU, CAS and injectors. These are probably the most common cause of Z's not running properly.

I had a fast idle, did the ole' boost leak test and found >>

that I had a vacuum leak (at idle .. it is vacuum) on the clutch booster as well as the EGR valve (what a pain in the a$$ to fix that), now I'm idling at about 650 - 700 which is probably a bit low, NOTE no idle adjustments were made, just fixd the relative leaks
