if running oversized tyres then yes the spacesave if it has a different rolling diameter could damage the diff,
The space saver is actually a different diameter when inflated to the normal tire. They are really pretty poo.
LAWL. Been here done that. On the suby however. 1 replacement diff, 1 free tire replacement under warranty later....
For those losing the spare tyre, the wheel well could make a nice space for a subwoofer enclosurewithout sacrificing any boot space
