    to my car's current setup.

My chip has been socketed - (if this is of any help).

This weekend I confirmed that everytime I step on it a cloud of BLACK smoke pours out.

I have read it is normal for Nissans to do that but mine is classed as kind of excessive.
Looks like my air/fuel mixture is crap.

Is there anyone around Sydney that knows the Z and can tune the chip to the cars specification. I'm from Umina/Gosford so the closer the better.

What does this involve and most important does this cost big bukcs to do?
(Don't want another type of computer. Just want to use the current setup but tuned for correct air/fuel)

    Thanks
    Peter

    UAS in castle hill

They've got a pretty good rap on this site. They also know there Zeds pretty good as well. Wouldn't be too far out of the way for you either.

I guess what would cost you.....

is the dyno time. Dyno time can be anywhere from $90-$150 per hour. So depending on how many hours is required to tune your car will affect the cost. I'd put aside a good 3 hours.

    Cheers

Thanks RedTT. Castle Hill is close.

Since UAS do it, I might attend the Dyno day on the 16th and talk to John.

    Thank you

Thanks Jedi, I now understand how this is done &

it appears the cost does'nt fall into the ludicrous range.
