I have replaced the cas sensor and the auto elec did the plug and added a pigtail. Maybe there is a break in the wire somewhere that the auto elec didn't find. I checked the ecu codes and I get a 1.1 and a 3.5. The cas and the egr sensor. Will the egr sensor playing up have any kind of effect on the cas. I read up a bit in the tech section and it seems that the computer will adjust the timing and run in a different backup timing curve. More importantly will the egr sensor playing up cause the engine to die with only the ignition lights working, with no starter motor. cheers
eric has covered everything for you. Take it back to the elec - he has f...... something up as it is definately related to elec issues with starter etc did he disconnet the egr and not reconnect them or did he use/cut/join the wrong wires somewhere?
